him and took the big, heavy sword
from the giant, to finish him off for all
to see.
When the rest of Goliaths army saw
what God did through David, they
were afraid. They were so afraid
they all ran away and the army of
Israel took back their land.
After this story, the Teacher told
everyone to close their books. She
pulled a little funny looking round
thing out of her pocket. It looked a
little like a harmonica. She called it
a pitch pipe.
She blew into it and once to get her
note, then she began to sing.
