to his feet once more and ran to
protect the sheep from the bear.
The bear stood up straight and tall
and made a very loud slobbery
growl.
David prayed to God again to give
him strength.
Then, without any fear, David
charged right into the bear!
He could smell the stinky breath
from the bear’s mouth.
God must have given David the
strength of 20 men. David grabbed
the bear and hit him just as hard as
he did the lion. The bear laid down
and died too.
